Q: My TinyMix has a "hum" or buzz that I can hear in the speakers. How do I fix this?
A: The TinyMix draws its power from USB, which can vary greatly in quality. To troubleshoot, unplug the USB connector and see if the buzz goes away. If it does, the USB power supply is most likely injecting this buzz. The USB power ground can either ripple or be offset from audio ground, which can cause this problem, especially if the system providing USB power is connected to an audio jack. To rectify, you can use a separate USB power supply, a USB powered hub, or a different system to supply USB power.
Q: Audio output sometimes is distorted, especially for loud sounds.
A: This isn't unique to the TinyMix, but it generally means that the audio output is too high. This can happen if the audio source is turned up too high, or (for some computers) attempting to drive headphones rather than amplified speakers. This can usually be rectified by turning the volume down on the audio source.
